Amy Ferguson

Social Media Account Manager

Amy has a strong background of working with public sector organisations such as the British Armed Forces, the Health Protection Agency and local authorities. It was her involvement in community outreach projects and public consultation exercises when working as a Town Planner that she realised to what great effect online communications, in particular social media could be used to engage and involve local communities in matters that sometimes otherwise felt like they were happening behind closed doors. In 2011 she decided to make her growing passion for social media into a career and hasn't looked back! When not tweeting, blogging or on Facebook, Amy can be found llama trekking, canoeing, walking or dreaming about what far flung destination she can visit next! If you have any questions please feel free to contact me on amy.gerguson@esocialmedia.co.uk
